Indie hit Citizen Sleeper celebrates three years: more than 2 million players, a free Spindlejack board game, and interesting statistics of the series
Three years ago, the indie hit Citizen Sleeper conquered gamers around the world, and now the series is celebrating its birthday with a new gift for fans - the developers of Jump Over The Age have released a free board game Spindlejack, which allows you to immerse yourself in a familiar universe in a new format.

Spindlejack is a board role-playing game that can be downloaded for free. The player tries on the role of a courier on the Far Spindle space station (a familiar location for those who have played Starward Vector), where they will have to complete tasks, earn Cryo, build a reputation, and survive the dangers of the station. All you need to play the game is a printed booklet, 10 six-sided dice, an eraser, and a pencil.
Spindlejack is inspired by the character Kadet from Citizen Sleeper 2, and its mechanics refer to the dice rolling system that players love. The game is ideal for solo play, and thanks to its simple print and play format, it is accessible to everyone. You can download it here.
Along with the release of the Jump Over The Age board game, we shared some interesting achievements of the series. Since the launch of Citizen Sleeper in 2022, the franchise has attracted more than 2 million players worldwide. The developers also revealed some funny statistics: 26% of players of the first part joined the commune, 19% were engaged in the production of moonshine from mushrooms, and 1.5% set off for a new life alone, leaving Lem and Mina waiting on the dock. In Starward Vector, 29% of players took in a stray cat, and only 1.5% managed to complete the game on the maximum difficulty.
Another piece of news for fans is that Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will be localised into French, Japanese, and simplified Chinese by the end of the year, making the game even more accessible to players from all over the world.
