Xiaomi Smart Life - a new name for MiJia brand

Xiaomi has decided to make changes to its MiJia brand.

But don't get upset: the sub-brand isn't going anywhere. It'll just be renamed. MiJia will now have the name Xiaomi Smart Life.

Xiaomi has announced this through its official account on the social network Weibo.

By the way, MiJia means Smart Home in Chinese. The logo consists of the letters M and J, resembling a shield, by which the company emphasizes safety of devices - "Reliable as a shield". The new name will be more understandable for users outside of China.

Meanwhile, the logo of the new brand has remained the same. Xiaomi also stresses that it does not plan any more changes. Support for the already released devices will continue, and new products will be released as before.

We would like to remind you that MiJia sub-brand was founded in 2014. A variety of products for the "smart" home are available under this brand: refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, other household appliances, toothbrushes, bicycles, scooters, etc.
