Another achievement of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: over 2 million copies of the "French JRPG" sold in 12 days
French studio Sandfall Interactive has shared a new achievement of the phenomenal RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which has already become the highest-rated game in Metacritic history according to gamers.
Here's What We Know
The authors reported that Expedition 33 has sold over two million copies in 12 days. This number includes both copies sold and those shipped to shops. At the same time Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available in Xbox Game Pass, so the real audience of the "French JRPG" is much larger.
The developers thank the public for the extremely warm welcome and invite those who have not yet done so to join the Expedition:
Twelve days have passed and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sold over two million copies. We have watched in awe as many of you have begun your journey, feeling every step, every emotion, every discovery with you. Welcome to those who are just joining us.
The audience is delighted with the visual style, exciting story and unusual combat system, but it should be emphasised that the studio has also offered a bold and unconventional step into the extremely conservative JRPG genre.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
