OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra has been spotted in Geekbench with Dimensity 9400+ chip
Last week, rumours surfaced that OnePlus was preparing the third model in the Ace 5 series after the already unveiled Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. It was reported then that the new product would be equipped with the yet-to-be-announced MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chip, which is a simplified version of the flagship 9400.
Here's What We Know
However, the new OnePlus device has appeared in the Geekbench database - and it is running on the more powerful Dimensity 9400+, an older version of the chip. This was surprising, because this particular smartphone is expected in China under the name OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition, which is likely to be known as "Ultra" in the international version.

According to Geekbench results, the performance of this device is close to the OnePlus 10 Pro, although slightly lower - the flagship uses Snapdragon 8 Elite. The main core of the Dimensity 9400+ runs at 3.73 GHz, which is the main difference from the regular 9400 with 3.63 GHz.
The prototype that was tested had 16 GB of RAM, although other configurations are likely to follow. The smartphone runs on Android 15. It is expected to be released in China by the end of May. The global launch is not yet known.
As a reminder, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and the OnePlus Ace 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
