Chinese brand Meizu has published the first official images of the new Note 16 and Note 16 Pro smartphones.

The company said that the presentation of the new gadgets will take place on 13 May and at this event will reveal the first details of the updated Flyme AIOS 2 operating system, which will debut on non-flagship smartphones for the first time.
Published renders show off Meizu's updated design: the standard Note 16 model will get an octagonal camera unit whose shape references traditional ancient Chinese architecture, while the Note 16 Pro features a round module. Both models feature a circular LED flash.
The Meizu Note 16 is expected to get a 6.78″LCD display, Unisoc T765 chip and a 50-megapixel camera, along with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, a 6,600mAh battery, 40W fast charging and a function button on the side.
