Thanks to the success of the co-op game Split Fiction, Electronic Arts was able to end fiscal year 2025 on a positive note
We wrote that Split Fiction, a co-operative adventure game developed by Hazelight and published by Electronic Arts, continues to show excellent results: total sales of the game exceeded 4 million copies just a few months after its release. EA has cited the game as one of the key reasons for its successful financial close in 2025.
Here's What We Know
EA CFO Stuart Canfield noted that the success of Split Fiction helped the company to end fiscal year 2025 on a positive note, and in 2026, EA plans to continue to release innovative projects.
In addition, Hazelight announced that Split Fiction will be one of the games available on the new Nintendo Switch 2 console, which is scheduled for release on 5 June 2025. This opens up new opportunities to expand the audience and increase sales.
Another interesting news is that a film starring Sidney Sweeney and directed by John M. Chu, known for the musical hit Wicked, is already being prepared.
