The cult S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy is expanding its presence on consoles: the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions have recently been officially rated in Taiwan, hinting at an imminent release and special improvements for modern platforms.

Here's What We Know

GSC Game World has already confirmed that it is working on an upgrade with graphical and technical innovations to give fans an even better survival experience in the Zone.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy is the first official port of all three original games in the series to home consoles. The collection includes Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat, which received full gamepad support, optimised menus, a new weapon selection wheel, and adaptation to PlayStation and Xbox interfaces. The original version was made for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Although the collection is already available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 for $40, and each game can be purchased separately for $20, an update for the current generation is needed, as the games are currently only backwards compatible.

GSC Game World has also already said that it is working on an upgrade with graphical and technical innovations to give fans an even better survival experience in the Zone. So, for now, we have to wait for the release.
