Insider: Apple is already developing the next iPhone Air models and plans to update the lineup every year
The ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air is expected to be released in autumn 2025. From leaks we know that its diagonal will be 6.6″, and the thickness of the body is only 5.5 mm.
And while everyone is waiting for the official presentation of the gadget, Chinese analyst and insider Ming-Chi Kuo shared information about the next Air-models of iPhone.
Here's What We Know
According to Kuo, Apple plans to release the iPhone 18 Air in autumn 2026 and thus start the annual tradition of releasing ultra-thin models. The Chinese insider is even aware that the iPhone 19 Air, which will be released in 2027, will get a larger display. Ming-Chi Kuo doesn't yet know how much larger it will be than previous models, although Bloomberg previously reported that one of the iPhone prototypes had a 6.9″ diagonal, but still the company rejected this size.
Well, time will tell whose sources are more accurate, Ming-Chi Kuo or Bloomberg.
