Ford Kuga gets a new Black option pack
Ford Motor has announced a new set of design elements for the Kuga crossover. The so-called Black Package will be available exclusively for Kuga ST-Line X. It contains original approaches to the design of the exterior of the car, which can be combined or contrasted with the body colours of the crossover.

The list of "blacked-out" details is opened by spectacular 20-inch alloy wheels Ford Performance, emphasising the sporty character of the ST-Line X. The contrasting accent is created by red brake calipers, which stand out against the background of black discs.
The Black Package also includes:
- black inserts on the lower edge of the front bumper
- black mirror housings
- black coloured roof
The Black Package can be ordered in combination with any of the six Kuga ST-Line body colours:
- Frozen White
- Agate Black
- Solar Silver
- Bursting Green
- Desert Island Blue
- Magnetic.
So you can choose either a monochrome or contrasting look depending on your preference.
"Whatever the choice, the 20-inch black rims, black roof and red calipers combined with the Kuga's streamlined shape are guaranteed to attract attention," said Jon Williams, General Manager Ford Blue Europe.
The Ford Kuga is available with a wide range of powertrains including the EcoBoost petrol engine, FHEV hybrid and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) capable of driving up to 69km on electric power.
The Kuga ST-Line X Black Package will be available to order from June. The cost of the option is not specified, but it is known that in Germany the price for the regular Kuga ST-Line X starts at €45,650.
