Samsung has officially announced that it will unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge at the Unpacked event on Monday, May 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Here's What We Know

The broadcast will start at 20:00 Eastern Time (ET), which for Ukraine means 13 May at 03:00 Kyiv time, and for Central Europe - 13 May at 02:00. You can watch the presentation on Samsung's YouTube channel.

The company first mentioned this model back in January, and now it has confirmed that it is a new flagship in a thin body. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was shown live at the Unpacked event.

In a blog post dedicated to the announcement, Samsung explicitly calls the device the Galaxy S25 Edge and claims that it "sets new standards" and "ushers in a new era for the mobile industry". According to the company, the smartphone combines the power of a flagship with maximum portability. One of the main highlights is the 200-megapixel camera, the same as in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This confirms that the model is focused on the premium segment.

According to rumours, Apple is also working on a slim iPhone 17 Air, but it is expected to have a simpler filling. Thus, the companies are preparing for direct competition in the new class of ultra-thin smartphones.

Although the exact price of the new product has not yet been announced, it is expected that the phone will first be released in the Korean market and later in the US, where Samsung is already offering a $50 pre-order credit. The event will be streamed on Samsung's YouTube channel, and we look forward to learning more about this new smartphone.
