Along with the announcement of "The Edge of Fate" expansion pack for Destiny 2, Bungie presented a large-scale expansion - "Renegades", which is scheduled for release on December 2, and a full-fledged presentation - in September. However, although there is little information, a short teaser trailer has already surprised fans: it shows familiar elements from the universe of the "galaxy far, far away", including a blaster and a lightsaber. It is also interesting that the LucasArts studio is involved in the development.

Here's What We Know

According to the official press release, the plot of Renegades takes players to the "criminal underground" of the wild territories, where they need to destroy the "sinister empire" and reveal the identity of the new Dredgen. The game will feature a system of reputation, collecting credits, and increasing influence - all of which sounds very Star Wars.

However, Bungie emphasises that Renegades is only "inspired" by Star Wars, retaining the branded style, gameplay, and narrative. They promise new characters, activities, and improved mechanics that will surprise even veterans of the game.

And those who are waiting for new products earlier should pay attention to The Edge of Fate - the release is scheduled for 15 July.
