After the release of the second trailer for GTA 6, a new wave of discussions erupted in the community: who is really behind the voices of Jason and Lucia? Rockstar traditionally keeps the intrigue, but famous actors have already begun to deny the rumours, and fans are coming up with their own theories.

Here's What We Know

Roger Craig Smith, the legendary voice of Ezio from Assassin's Creed, Batman, Sonic, and Chris Redfield, was one of the first to put the record straight. On his social media pages, Smith clearly stated: "No, it's not me," and thus refuted speculation about his participation in the role of Jason in GTA 6. He was echoed by Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Uncharted), who also has no relation to the main characters of the new Rockstar hit.

Amid these denials, fans are increasingly analysing the voices from the trailers and comparing them to famous actors. The most popular version now is that Jason is voiced by Dylan Rourke, known for his roles in Grey's Anatomy and American Family, and Lucia is voiced by Manny L. Perez, who has already worked with Rockstar on GTA Online and appeared in Law & Order and Jessica Jones. Both actors have not yet confirmed their participation, and Rockstar does not officially disclose the cast.

Interestingly, Gregory Connors was previously mentioned as a possible candidate (due to the mention of the main role in the Rockstar project in his CV), as well as Brian Zampella, who even copied Jason's style on social media, but there is no evidence of their participation.

We will be able to find out for sure on 26 May 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

As a reminder, the former Rockstar developer believes that the detail of GTA 6 justifies any price tag that the studio will put on it.
