Fans of the post-apocalyptic series Fallout have received good news - the filming of the second season is officially over. This was announced by the show's stars Ella Purnell (Lucy McLane) and Walton Goggins (Ghoul), who shared their joy on social media. However, we will have to wait for the exact date of the premiere: the release is expected no earlier than spring or summer 2026.

The second season of Fallout, created by Prime Video and inspired by the cult game series, has gone through a difficult production path. The filming started in November 2024 but was suspended due to the large-scale fires in Los Angeles. Despite the delays, the team has already completed the bulk of the work on the episodes, and the project is now entering the post-production phase. If the schedule remains the same as in the first season, viewers will be able to look forward to the new adventures of Lucy, Gul and Maximus in about a year - in the spring or summer of 2026.
The plot of the second season promises even more dangers and new locations - the showrunners have already hinted at the appearance of the legendary Deathclaws, one of the most dangerous creatures in the Fallout world. It is also expected that the characters will go to new regions, and the story of Lucy and her father Hank, played by Kyle MacLachlan, will get an unexpected continuation.
The cast is being expanded with new names: according to rumours, Kumail Nanjiani may join the team, although his role has not yet been revealed and officially confirmed. Earlier it became known that Macaulay Culkin will also appear in the second season as a "mad genius". Among the returnees are Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, as well as Moises Arias, Leslie Aggams, Frances Turner, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.
The first season of Fallout became a real hit for Prime Video, garnering more than 100 million views and receiving critical acclaim.
