Spanish Amazon has unexpectedly revealed details of Sony's flagship WH-1000XM6 headphones, which the company has yet to officially announce.

Here's What We Know

The page was promptly deleted, but in the network remained its screenshot, which reveals the basic information about the novelty.

The first thing that interests buyers is the price, and Sony WH-1000XM6 will cost them € 470, which is significantly more expensive than the previous model ($400 in the US).

The headphones will get a new QN3 HD processor for "up to 7 times better performance" and a system of 12 microphones for better noise cancellation, Multipoint support and 30 hours of battery life. They support wireless Hi-Res Audio via LDAC and use Edge-AI-powered DSEE Extreme to restore compressed audio files in real time. The audio output covers a frequency range from 4Hz to 40,000Hz using optimised carbon fibre dome drivers. Supported audio codecs include SBC, AAC, LDAC and LC3.

The manufacturer has returned to a foldable headphone design.

Sony WH-1000XM6 have already been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission and may be unveiled soon. This is likely to happen on the 15th of May.
