Already on the 13th of May, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge ultra-thin flagship smartphone. The thickness of the device will be only 5.8 mm and the Korean manufacturer has taken care of the durability of its display.

Here's What We Know

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature the innovative Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 screen protection.

This technology uses crystals in a glass matrix and an ion exchange process to provide strength and crack resistance.

Corning and Samsung are keeping the details of the production of the new glass a secret, but have stated that it will be the standard for all ultra-thin devices.

Thus, Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 will also appear in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which, as we have already reported, will be the thinnest smartphone in the world - in the unfolded state it will be only 3.9 mm thick.
