No longer sci-fi: Klein Vision has unveiled the AirCar 2 flying car with a range of up to 1,000 kilometres
Slovakian company Klein Vision joins the global trend of personal innovative vehicles and has announced a flying car.
Here's What We Know
Klein Vision has unveiled AirCar 2 - a device that combines a car and a small aircraft. The manufacturer claims that on the ground the transport develops a speed of up to 200 km / h, and in the air accelerates to 250 km / h.
It is noteworthy that the transition from one state to another takes only 80 seconds and requires no effort from the driver/pilot: the wings extend from the body, the rear spoiler turns into a tail and the propeller is activated. The vehicle is 6 metres long in its standard state, allowing it to park in normal parking spaces.
The range in aircraft mode is up to 1000 kilometres.
The price of AirCar 2 is $800 thousand.
In September 2025 Klein Vision plans to complete certification and launch serial production of AirCar 2. The company is going to produce up to 100 cars per year.
