Galaxy Buds Core may get a more powerful battery than even the flagship Buds 3 Pro
Samsung is preparing to launch new wireless headphones Galaxy Buds Core, the successor to the popular budget model Galaxy Buds FE. According to a new certification from the Norwegian company Nemko, the new product will receive a significant upgrade in terms of autonomy.
Here's What We Know
Galaxy Buds Core not only changes its name (previously it was expected to be Buds FE 2), but also demonstrates a significant increase in battery capacity. According to the leak, each earbud will have a 100 mAh battery, which is twice as much as the Galaxy Buds FE (60 mAh). And the charging case will have a 500 mAh battery, which is slightly more than its predecessor (479 mAh).
For comparison, even the flagship Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have only 48 mAh in each earbud and 515 mAh in the case. Thus, the new budget Buds Core actually outperform even premium models in terms of battery life.
Samsung has not yet announced the launch date, but the appearance in certification databases indicates an imminent release. The headphones are likely to appear first in the markets of Brazil, Indonesia, Israel, India, Mexico, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, and Egypt.
Samsung will officially unveil the acclaimed ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone on 13 May. You can watch the presentation on Samsung's YouTube channel. Galaxy S25 Edge has an extremely thin profile - only 5.8 mm thick. The leaked images show a dual main camera module, with a 200MP main sensor with 2x optical zoom, as well as a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
