Casio introduces affordable W-218H with backlight and 7-year battery
Casio has expanded its W-218H series with two new models: W-218H-3BV and W-218H-8BV. Both watches are sporty and come in fresh shades of green - dark green and mint green, respectively.

They feature a dark display with light numerals, which ensures good readability.
The new models retain all the key features of their predecessors: 1/100-second stopwatch, daily alarm, hourly signals, and a choice of time format - 12 or 24 hours. The watch automatically takes into account the number of days in a month, including 28 days in February. There is no need to worry about accuracy - the error does not exceed 30 seconds per month.
The 44.4 x 43.2 x 10.8 mm case is made of durable resin and is waterproof to 50 metres. And there's also a striking feature: the display is backlit with amber LED light, which is convenient in the dark. Both models are powered by a CR2016 battery with a service life of up to seven years.
The W-218H-3BV and W-218H-8BV are already available on Casio's international website. It is expected that the new products will go on sale in May, although the exact prices and sales markets have not yet been announced. The price is likely to be affordable - the previous W-218H-1AV model cost $22.95.
Casio recently released the G-Shock x Undefeated in the US and announced its launch in Europe. The model, created in collaboration with the popular Undefeated brand, features a stylish design that combines the durability of the G-Shock with the aesthetics of Undefeated.
