Less than two years after the release of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Gun Interactive recently announced that the game will no longer receive expansion packs or new content in general. In a post on Steam, the studio said that it is proud of its game and that it has "reached its full potential".

Here's What We Know

The latest patch for the asymmetric horror multiplayer will be released by the end of May. Further technical updates will focus only on the transition to p2p matchmaking to ensure the game's continued availability. At the same time, the game will not be removed from digital stores - it will remain available to players.

However, there will be no new content, bug fixes or balance changes. As for the future plans, Gun Interactive only briefly said: "Stay tuned".

Where To Play

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
