The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine presented technological achievements and digital solutions at the London Defence Conference, the largest security conference in the UK.

Here's What We Know

The Ukrainian delegation presented the DELTA combat system and Avengers artificial intelligence. The Avengers platform detects 70% of enemy vehicles in video streams, with only 2.2 seconds spent on finding one unit. The DELTA system provides soldiers with situational awareness and the ability to coordinate actions in minutes, allowing them to act more effectively on the battlefield.

Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digitalisation, stressed that technological superiority is a decisive factor in modern warfare. She emphasised that Ukraine has created an ecosystem where drones in the air, on the ground and at sea work together to deliver precision strikes in real time.

The London Defence Conference was founded in 2022 after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine to raise the profile of security in the face of global threats. During this year's conference, the Ukrainian delegation took part in several panel discussions on Europe's global security.

The conference participants praised the Ministry of Defence's approach to the digitalisation of the army. Some foreign countries have already expressed interest in using the DELTA combat system in their armed forces.
