The concept of controlling gadgets with neural implants is gradually becoming more and more attractive to technology companies. Elon Musk's Neuralink is already being tested by volunteers around the world, with amazing results.

As it turns out, Apple has also joined such developments.

Here's What We Know

Journalists of The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple is developing neuroimplants to control its gadgets. It is expected that users will literally be able to interact with various Apple devices, including the iPhone.

Of course, first of all, such technologies will be of interest to people with disabilities, who would not be able to use gadgets otherwise. It is reported that Apple is working on the project together with biotech startup Synchron, which created a microimplant Stentrode - ten people have already received such a chip, which is installed in a blood vessel near the cerebral cortex, and one of them diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is already learning to control the iPhone and iPad with the help of Stentrode and special software from Apple.

At the moment both companies are working on creating an Apple interface for such a system from Synchron.

Of course, the timing of such a project is not named and it is not even a fact that such a development will come out, but it can't help but feel good that many people may have access to digital technology.
