Thirteen Samsung gadgets won't be getting One UI 8

One UI 8, a new version of the operating system for Samsung gadgets, which this time will be based on Android 16, is expected to be released in the summer of 2025.

Obviously, not all smartphones and tablets will get the new firmware and now it has become known which device users should not count on the update.

Portal Gizmochina has compiled a list of current models of Samsung gadgets that will definitely not receive One UI 8, based on their technical specifications.

Owners of 11 models of smartphones and 2 models of tablets should think about buying more modern devices.

One UI 8 won't be getting:

Galaxy S lineup:

• Galaxy S21;
• Galaxy S21 Plus;
• Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Galaxy Z lineup:

• Galaxy Z Fold 3;
• Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Galaxy Tab lineup:

• Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022);
• Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro.

Galaxy A line:

• Galaxy A14;
• Galaxy A14 5G.

Galaxy M lineup:

• Galaxy M33;
• Galaxy M14;
• Galaxy M14 5G.

Galaxy F lineup:

• Galaxy F14 5G.
