HBO Max is coming back: Warner Bros. has changed its mind again and is changing the name of its streaming service

Media giant Warner Bros. Discovery has revealed some surprising news that will cheer fans of HBO's films and series.

Here's What We Know

On 23 May 2023, HBO Max, the popular channel for watching top-rated movies and series, was renamed Max. Such rebranding was supposed to attract new viewers, but something went wrong and instead of attracting an audience, the channel started to lose popularity rapidly.

And exactly two years after that date - on 23 May 2025, the now Max will be renamed again as HBO Max. Warner Bros. hopes the move will help bring the service back to its former popularity.
