The racing game Wreckfest 2 has received its first content update: the developers have added new tracks, cars and social features
Bugbear studio and THQ Nordic publisher released the first content update for the racing game Wreckfest 2, which is available in Steam Early Access and is the "spiritual successor" of the cult FlatOut.
Here's What We Know
The authors added to Wreckfest 2 not only support for DLSS and FSR image scaling technologies, but also the ability to adjust the field of view (FOV) and improved gamepad operation.
In addition, the game now has the ability to invite friends to matches, as well as search and sort open servers. As for new content, in Wreckfest 2 there are two new cars: European sports sedan Bravion and American large sedan Rammer and two racing tracks. The authors tweaked the AI and fixed a number of bugs.
The full list of changes can be found on the game's page in Steam.
Let's remind, the audience in general positively evaluates Wreckfest 2, first of all players like the advanced mechanics of destroying cars and objects of the environment. Each collision leaves its mark and not only deforms the body, but also affects the course of the car. The game looks bright, spectacular, realistic and, despite the fact that we are facing an early version, very technologically advanced and clearly noticeable improvements over the first part. The main complaint to the developers is the small amount of content, but as we can see Bugbear is actively working on adding cars and tracks.
