Arrowhead Game Studios is not resting on its laurels and is preparing a grand gaming event for Helldivers 2. According to the official but now deleted post of PlayStation Czech Republic, a major update called Heart of Democracy will be released on 20 May, where players will have to defend Super Earth itself from the invasion of enemies.

Here's What We Know

After the recent large-scale update that added new enemies from the Illuminate faction, the ability to level up the main weapon and other innovations, Arrowhead is preparing an even bigger sequel. According to a post on social media, the Heart of Democracy update will be the culmination of the struggle for the survival of humanity, as Illuminate launches a full-scale invasion of their home planet.

The PlayStation's message sounds an alarming warning: "Super Earth is in danger. All Helldivers should immediately head to their Hellpods. The battle for humanity begins!" This event promises to take players to the megacities of Super Earth, where fierce battles will unfold in new urban locations.

The new update will also bring the Masters of Ceremony Warbond weapon set, which will include the R-2 Amendment, a rifle with a multifunctional bayonet knife, the new CQC-2 Sabre melee weapon, and the G-142 Pyrotech fire grenade. In addition to weapons, there will be new armour items with the Reinforced Epaulettes perk, which will help players stay in combat longer without risking fractures.

This Warbond will be the first after a three-month break, which the developers explained by the need to carefully prepare the content. Arrowhead has already apologised to the community for the delay, promising more news and updates in the near future.

Helldivers 2 is available on PC and PlayStation 5, and with each update, the game is only gaining momentum, offering players new challenges and opportunities for teamwork.
