Days Gone Remastered continues to improve: the developers from Bend Studio have released a new patch that adds a "Balanced" graphics mode with 40 frames per second, improves the sound component and reduces input latency, making the game even more comfortable.

Here's What We Know

One of the main new features of the latest update is the introduction of a new "Balanced" rendering mode, which is available for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro owners with 120Hz VRR TVs. This mode combines high resolution (1800p on PS5 and 4K with PSSR on PS5 Pro) with 40 FPS, allowing players to enjoy smooth, high-quality graphics without putting too much strain on the system.

In addition, the game now supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), which improves the smoothness of the image on compatible displays. It is important to note that to activate VRR, you need to have a suitable TV and enable this feature in the console settings.

The patch also fixes the issue with the screen being too dark after exiting the map, and makes adjustments to the performance mode, improving load times and optimising content streaming. The update reduces input lag, making controls more responsive, and fixes critical bugs.

The game's soundtrack has become richer and more detailed: the volume balance of dialogues, enemy weapon sounds, and effects accompanying attacks and enemy movement have been improved. The changes in the sounds of freaks are especially noticeable.

As for the game mechanics, the patch confirmed the correct operation of Motion Sensor Function Aiming, as well as fixed audio and navigation issues in Horde Assault mode, allowing you to enjoy battles with waves of enemies longer.
