Xiaomi has officially launched a new TV S Mini LED 2025 series in China. The line is already available for pre-order, and sales will start on 22 May.

Here's What We Know

The models will be available in 4 sizes: 55", 65", 75" and 85". The price starts from 2999 yuan ($416) for the 55-inch basic version, and the top 75-inch version with mounting costs 5199 yuan ($722). The price of the 85-inch model has not yet been disclosed.

According to the manufacturer, the key innovation is an anti-reflective screen with only 1.8% reflectivity, which provides deeper blacks and high contrast even in bright rooms. VA panels combined with Mini LED backlighting and a multi-layer optical film provide precise light control. The number of local dimming zones varies with size, from 408 in the 55-inch model to 704 in the 75-inch model.

The flagship S75 model supports 4K, a peak brightness of 1700 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz (with the ability to increase to 288 Hz in gaming mode). The TV is equipped with the second generation of Master Image Engine, powered by AI: algorithms dynamically adjust local dimming, contrast and colour temperature in real time.

The S75 also supports VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to reduce image tearing and improve gaming performance.

Inside: Cortex-A73 processor, Mali-G52 GPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage. There is WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.1 (with eARC), USB 3.0, optics, AV, LAN. The audio system has 4 speakers, 30 W, with support for Dolby Atmos and Harman AudioEFX.

The TVs run on HyperOS 2.0 with Xiao AI voice assistant and smart home support.
