Insider: Apple won't release the AirPods Pro 3 until 2026, and the AirPods Max headset won't be available until 2027
Apple's new products that may be delayed include a new model of TWS headphones and the brand's full-size AirPods headset.
Here's What We Know
Authoritative Chinese insider and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Apple will not release wireless headphones AirPods Pro 3 until 2026, and the headset AirPods Max will be available only in 2027.
AirPods may not see significant updates until 2026 (aligning with my earlier prediction that IR camera-equipped AirPods would enter mass production in 2026). A lighter version of the AirPods Max is expected to enter mass production in 2027.

Both models have yet to be announced, but some things are known about them. Mark Gurman reported that the AirPods Pro 3 will get infrared cameras, improved noise cancellation, and possibly a heart rate sensor. The cameras will be used to power "visual intelligence" that analyses the environment and provides information about it.
There is little to no information about the new AirPods Max model.
