Famous game designer Hideo Kojima is a huge fan of cinema, which is reflected in his games, and could not ignore the opening of the Cannes Film Festival.

Here's What We Know

The Japanese developer not only met with Hollywood and game industry stars, but also presented new footage of his newest game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Kojima introduced one of the characters that was not in the first part - Dollman. The audience was shown several shots with this character, which confirm that the authors have used an unusual move and realised Dollman's movements with the help of frame-by-frame animation, which is an integral part of Japanese media culture.

Still unclear is Dollman's role in On the Beach, but from what is known, he's a man trapped in a doll and was previously a psychic, and in the game will hang from protagonist Sam's belt and comment on his actions, often wryly.

We can't help but share a few interesting photos with our readers.
