Volkswagen has refreshed the T-Roc range in the UK with the introduction of two new trim levels - Style Design and Black Edition Plus. These replace the previous Style and Black Edition, offering enhanced standard equipment while maintaining the same price level.

Here's What We Know

Both versions get 19-inch black alloy wheels, electric boot door, reversing camera, keyless entry, panoramic sunroof and metallic body paint with contrasting black roof. The Style Design package also comes with a design package with black mirror housings and IQ.Light matrix headlamps.

The most interesting thing in this story is that the Black Edition Plus (pictured below) retains the same price of £36,515, although if ordered separately this list of optional extras would cost £3,225. The Style Design configuration costs £33,205 - £1,000 more expensive than the departed Style, but includes £5,520 worth of options.

When the R-Line version is discontinued, the new kits will occupy a middle ground between the base Life and Match versions (from £29,315) and the top-of-the-range T-Roc R and R Black Edition (up to £46,640).

The Volkswagen T-Roc is available in the UK with 1.0 TSI (115bhp) and 1.5 TSI (150bhp) petrol engines. A diesel version in R-Line configuration with 2.0 TDI engine (150 hp) is also available on the company's website for now. Transmissions: 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG.
