In today's world, where data mining has become a real trend, developers need to be one step ahead if they want to keep the intrigue alive until the official announcement. This is exactly what Embark Studios, the studio behind the highly anticipated ARC Raiders action shooter, has done after recently completing technical testing.

Here's What We Know

After the ARC Raiders Technical Test closed, Embark Studios left the game files available for everyone to explore for a while. Later, the studio released an update that literally "wiped" all the relevant game files.

User X under the nickname Scrappy posted an image confirming that a significant number of game files were deleted.

However, Embark Studios employees still left the executable file (.exe), which contains only a banner with the "play" and "exit" buttons.
