On May 20, the PlayStation Plus catalogue was updated with 10 new games for PlayStation 4/5, which are now available for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium tier subscribers. All of these titles are already available to download and play.

Here's What We Know

However, this update has its dark side, as a significant list of 22 games are now taken from PS Plus. The new games are designed to fill that gap.

Here's the full list of new games appearing in the PS Plus catalogue:

PS Plus Extra: May 2025

  • Sand Land (PS5, PS4) | Review
  • Soul Hackers 2 (PS5, PS4) | Overview
  • Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted - Full Time Edition (PS5, PS4)
  • Battlefield V (PS4) | Review
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: LegendsLegends of the Zone Trilogy (PS5, PS4)
  • Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising (PS5, PS4) | Review
  • HUMANKIND (PS5, PS4)
  • Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life (PS5)
  • Gloomhaven Mercenaries Edition (PS5, PS4)

PS Plus Premium: May 2025

  • Battle Engine Aquila (PS2)

Among the games that have been removed from the PS Plus library are a number of popular titles, notably Grand Theft Auto V, Batman: Arkham Knight, Ghostrunner, as well as several PSVR2 titles such as The Walking Dead: Saints Sinners (both parts), Synth Riders and Before Your Eyes.

However, games like the S.T.A.L.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone trilogy, which appeared on release day, are pretty good compensation.
