Indian tech company Nazara Technologies has acquired British publisher Curve Games, known for hits such as Human Fall Flat. The deal was valued at 248 million Indian rupees (approximately $29 million). Previously, Curve Games was a part of Catalis Group.

Here's What We Know

Catalis Group CEO Shaon Baylay said that the company was proud to have Curve as part of their portfolio, but was confident that the studio would reach even greater heights under Nazara's leadership.

Along with Curve, Nazara also acquired its subsidiary studios - Runner Duck from Brighton and IronOak Games from Vancouver. According to the parties, there are no plans to change the team's staff - Curve will continue to operate from London, and the management will remain in place.

This is the second British acquisition for Nazara - in 2024, the company also bought Fusebox Games, known for the mobile projects Love Island The Game and Love Villa.

Curve Games recently released Badlands Crew, the third instalment of the Crew series from Runner Duck, and also published Dungeons of Hinterberg for PC and Xbox Series.
