The Silent Hill f trailer was a real surprise for fans of the series. Now Konami officially confirms that the new game is a completely independent story that has no direct connection with the previous Silent Hill titles.

Here's What We Know

The game is set in the Japanese town of Ebisugaoka in the 1960s, and this makes Silent Hill f radically different from all previous games in the series. Although the familiar Silent Hill fog is still present, the plot and characters are completely new. This is exactly what Konami said in the official tweet: "This is a completely new project, independent of the series. It is suitable even for those who have never played Silent Hill before."

For fans, this means that they should not expect the appearance of familiar characters, such as James Sunderland. However, despite the lack of direct connections, Silent Hill f retains the franchise's signature elements, such as the Otherworld.

One of the key places in the game will be The Dark Shrine, which looks majestic but hides a sinister secret. Silent Hill f will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, but the exact release date has not yet been announced. The game's content promises to be as dark and creepy as possible, so get ready for strong impressions.
