Windows 11 may add Cross Device Resume, a feature that synchronises apps on your smartphone and PC
Microsoft may add a feature to Windows 11 similar to Handoff, which is introduced in Apple's ecosystem and allows you to synchronise the work of applications on your smartphone and computer.

At the Build 2025 presentation, Microsoft demonstrated the Cross Device Resume feature. For some unknown reason, the fragment with its demonstration was removed from public access, but the screenshots made quickly are spreading in the network.
The company showed the new option using the Spotify app as an example. While it was running on an Android smartphone, an icon appeared on the taskbar on the computer synchronised with it, showing that the user could continue listening to music on another device from the same place.
There's no timeline for when Cross Device Resume will appear in Windows 11, nor is there any word yet on whether the feature will be compatible with iOS devices.
