Not a bad start: 1 million Steam users have added Gothic 1 Remake to their wishlist
Gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of the remake of the cult role-playing game Gothic - this can be judged not only The authors of Gothic 1 Remake have listened to the critics of the demo and updated the Nyras Prologue, but also by how many people are ready to buy it.
Here's What We Know
THQ Nordic and the developers from Alkimia Interactive studio reported that Gothic 1 Remake has already hit the Steam wishlist more than 1 million times and the game is currently on the 22nd place of the most anticipated games on this platform.

It's also worth noting that the stats didn't include similar wishlists for the PS5 and Xbox Series, though there are plenty of gamers out there ready to dive into the story of Nameless, who's trapped in the Valley of the Ore and trying to escape from it.
Demo and gameplay trailers showed that Alkimia Interactive respects the source material and tries to keep all the advantages and features of the original 2001 game, but does not forget about adding new mechanics and expanding the narrative component.
When We Can Expect It
It is still unknown when Gothic Remake will be released. It is expected to happen in 2025.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
