New OnePlus Ace 5 Extreme gaming flagship to debut on May 27 with powerful Dimensity 9400+
OnePlus has officially announced the new gaming smartphone Ace 5 Extreme Edition (also known as Ace 5 Ultra), which will be presented on 27 May in China.
Here's What We Know
The main feature of the device is the creation of the most comfortable conditions for mobile gamers, with an emphasis on high performance, stable operation and the ability to play for a long time without interruption.
The smartphone is powered by the new 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor with a maximum CPU frequency of 3.73 GHz. Thanks to this chip, OnePlus claims a 35% increase in CPU and 41% increase in GPU performance, as well as 15% increased energy efficiency during gaming. The Fengchi Gaming Core system optimisation provides an overall 8% increase in gaming performance.
Ace 5 Extreme has a three-chip system: in addition to the main Dimensity 9400+, there is a special Lingxi touch controller with a response frequency of 3000 Hz and a G1 Wi-Fi chip that provides a stable connection. This reduces latency and improves control accuracy even during fast-paced games.
The smartphone is certified for Peace Elite League (PEL) eSports competitions and supports a native 120Hz refresh rate without interpolation, and can run games at 120 FPS stably even during video calls.
According to benchmarks, the Ace 5 Extreme demonstrates a stable 118.3 FPS in the 1% Low FPS test, which is twice as good as many flagships.
OnePlus promises a stable performance of over 5 hours of non-stop use - ideal for gamers who value smoothness and battery life. The official launch will take place very soon - on 27 May.
