New football sensation: arcade sports simulator Rematch by Sifu is set to open beta on 28 May
Rematch, the new multiplayer football game from talented developers Sifu and Absolver, a Sloclap studio, is set to release in June. But before the game sees the light of day, you'll have the opportunity to try it out as part of an open beta test that will be available on consoles for the first time.
Here's What We Know
The open beta will take place from 28 to 31 May.
To participate, you can register for a beta invitation via the official website. However, the developer Sloclap plans to open access to everyone starting from 29 May. Please note that you will need an active PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass Core subscription to play the beta. Important: cross-play will not be available in the beta, but it will be supported in the final game.
As a reminder, Rematch is a 5-on-5 football game where 10 players occupy each position on the field. The feature is short matches, no fouls or referee, an emphasis on teamwork, and arenas that allow you to bounce the ball off the walls.
