Portals are open again: Splitgate 2 shooter is now available in open beta on PC, Xbox and PlayStation
Splitgate 2, the anticipated sequel to the popular free-to-play multiplayer shooter, is now available in the open beta on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
Here's What We Know
This first-person shooter combines arena battles and sci-fi weapons with unique portal mechanics. This allows players to move around the maps in a variety of strategic ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. With portals, you can flank enemies, create unexpected firing positions, and perform incredible stunts.
The open beta contains most of what will be included in the final game: over 25 weapons, multiple maps and game modes, and The Lab, where you can create your own maps and modes to share with the community.
And the good news is that all the progress you make during the open beta will be carried over to the final game when it launches.
