Nintendo continues to surprise: Switch 2 console will get USB mouse compatibility
Some interesting information has emerged about another feature of the next-generation Nintendo Switch 2 hybrid console.
Here's What We Know
The manufacturer has already announced that the Joy-Con 2 controller has a mouse mode, which will allow precise game control and bring gameplay closer to PC. However, the Japanese company defaulted that Switch 2 will get support for standard USB mice to control in a number of games, the exact list of which is still unknown.
This information was revealed on a stream by publisher Koei Tecmo during a gameplay demo of strategy game Nobunaga's Ambition: Awakening CE (from 12:52):
When a mouse is connected, the console automatically prioritises it over the Joy-Con 2 controller. It is not clear if interaction with a wireless mouse is possible.
This feature will be especially relevant for fans of strategy and shooter games that are conveniently played with a mouse.
Sales of the Nintendo Switch 2 console will start on the 5th of June.
