Apple remains the global market leader in TWS headphone sales, but Xiaomi and Huawei are seeing explosive growth
Analyst agency Canalys has published its quarterly report on global TWS headphone sales.
Here's What We Know
According to the presented statistics, in Q1 2025, the leader of wireless headphones sales remains Apple. The American company increased sales of AirPods and Beats models by 12% to 18.2 million devices, which is 23.3% of the global market.
In second place is Chinese giant Xiaomi, which showed rapid sales growth - by 63%, and shipped 9 million headphones in the first quarter of 2025. Incidentally, another Chinese manufacturer Huawei shows an explosive increase in sales - by 40%, which allowed it to take the fourth place in the list of the most sought-after headphones.
The third line was occupied by brands owned by Samsung (Harman/Kardon, JBL, AKG), whose sales remained at the same level and totalled 5.6 million devices.
Rounding out the top five is Indian company boAT.
