The head is not friends with the body: Davy x Jones unusual shooter announced
Polish studio The Parasight, founded in 2021 by former employees of Bloober Team, announced an unusual shooter, which surprises both the setting and unusual plot, based on the legend of the pirate Davy Jones.
Here's What We Know
Developers from The Parasight presented Davy x Jones first-person shooter. It will be a dynamic, bright and, it seems, a little humorous game.
According to the plot of Davy x Jones, the protagonist is betrayed by his allies and dies, after which, as in the legend, he goes to the afterlife of pirates. His head ends up separated from his body and they begin to live separate lives from each other, but still remain close.
The head named Davy has a temper and doesn't want to follow orders, and the body named Jones wants to take revenge on his offenders and return the stolen artefacts - that's the main goal of the game.
The authors showed only a few gameplay shots, but it is clear that gamers will have a sabre, a pistol, a shotgun and a grappling hook at their disposal. They will have to fight against various supernatural creatures, some of which are reminiscent of Lovecraft's stories, such as the huge Leviathan, which can destroy even the largest frigate with its tentacles.

Davy x Jones release date is not specified, it is stated that the game will be released on PC and unnamed consoles.
