Only a month after the release of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, the first leaks about the next model are already appearing. A well-known Digital Chat Station insider shared the technical characteristics of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra prototype cameras.

Here's What We Know

Reportedly, the smartphone will have a 200-megapixel main sensor with a large sensor size, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and another 200-megapixel periscope camera with macro support. There is also an additional 50-megapixel "superperiscope" with 10x optical zoom.

The device is expected to be powered by an unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip (known as SM8850). This confirms earlier rumours that the base models of the Find X9 series will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chips and could be released in autumn 2025. The Find X9 Ultra, on the other hand, is likely to debut later, in early 2026.

Other expected specs include a 6.82-inch OLED display with 2K+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is likely to run the proprietary ColorOS 16 shell based on Android 15. Details about the battery and charging have not yet been revealed, but they are likely to remain at the level of current Oppo flagships.

More information is expected in the coming months.

Oppo may use Samsung's ISOCELL HP9, which is also found in the Vivo X200 Ultra, or even a newer sensor to differentiate the Find X9 Pro from its competitors.
