More mods for STALKER to come: GSC Game World releases official SDK Beta toolkit
Custom modifications are an integral part of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan community. Mods created a huge number and they significantly diversify and complement the cult Ukrainian shooters, so the studio GSC Game World actively supports modding and promotes this movement.
Here's What We Know
The developers have confirmed that very soon they will release in free access toolkit SDK Beta, which will allow you to create mods for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and the Legends of the Zone trilogy, using almost the same features that the developers had. And for this you don't need to know programming and game design!
At the moment the toolkit is being tested and the authors can't give a release date yet, but we won't have to wait long - that's for sure.
Note that fans of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and without SDK Beta perfectly cope with the creation of mods, but the appearance of this toolkit will make the process even more convenient.
