While everyone is chasing trailers, beta test sign-ups, and update lists, YouTube suddenly unleashed a full-length orchestral session of the Clair Obscur soundtrack: Expedition 33. The video has garnered almost 1.5 million views, which is almost like a Grammy in pixel terms for video game music.

The music was written by composer Lorien Testard in collaboration with vocalist Alice Duport-Percier. The recording was brought to life by the musicians of the Orchestre Curieux under the direction of Daniel Sicard. All this is at a high level: with a live choir, soloists and chamber group. The duration is 11 minutes, and there is not a single second of boredom.

There are five songs in the video: Alicia, Lumière, L'Aurore aux Doigts de Roses, Aline and Until Next Life. And if you're reading these lines with headphones on, there's a risk that you'll turn it on and stay stuck to the end.

This is a good example of how even a game soundtrack can become a phenomenon in its own right. No shouting, clickbait or jokes with yellow headlines. Just beautiful music - and a lot of grateful comments.
