Xiaomi launches hair dryer with temperature sensor and fast hair drying
Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the new Mijia High-Speed Hair Dryer Pro priced at 579 yuan (about $80) in China.

The model is an improved continuation of the recently introduced Mijia Water Ion Hair Dryer and complements the line of smart personal care devices.
The main feature of the Pro model is a constant temperature mode of 50°C to protect the scalp. The built-in TOF sensor, NTC thermistor and microprocessor control the temperature up to 200 times per second, ensuring comfortable and safe drying.
The hairdryer is equipped with a 110,000 rpm brushless motor that creates an airflow of up to 70 m/s. According to the company, this allows you to dry short hair in 30 seconds, medium hair in 3 minutes, and long hair in 5 minutes. The device is quiet, so it is suitable even for evening use.
There are four temperature settings (cold, warm, hot, alternating) and two speeds. The hairdryer remembers the last settings. The smart ring on the nozzle changes colour depending on the distance to the head for user convenience.
The ionisation function releases up to 200 million negative ions. They reduce the effect of electrification, make hair less frizzy and add shine. According to laboratory data, scalp hydration increases by 51.7%, hair smoothness by 35.7%, shine by 45.6%, and strength by 11.8%.
Weighing 380 g (without cable and attachment), the hairdryer is available in four colours Mountain Green, Misty Purple, Rock Gray, and Pearl White and has a wall mount.
