Samsung tests Galaxy Fold7 with powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite
The new Samsung Galaxy Fold7 foldable smartphone has been tested in Geekbench and confirmed the use of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
Here's What We Know
The device with the model number SM-F966N has two high-performance cores with a frequency of 4.47 GHz, which indicates a specially overclocked version of the chip - probably Snapdragon for Galaxy.
Despite the powerful hardware, the test results in single-core and multi-core modes are lower than those of the Galaxy S25 series. This indicates that Fold7 is still at the development and testing stage, so the final results may be higher.

Earlier, CAD renders of the device have already appeared on the web, hinting at design changes.
The official announcement of the Galaxy Fold7 is likely to take place in July, along with the new Flip7 and other Samsung products.
Recently, the first live photo of the Samsung Galaxy Fold7 has appeared online. The image shows the back of the device with the branded vertical triple camera without any new details, but it could be the first look at the real device before the launch.
