Honor has unveiled the new EarBuds X9 wireless headphones in China during its 400th series event. The main features of the model are large 12.4 mm drivers and Golden Ear certification from the China Audio Industry Association.
Here's What We Know
EarBuds X9 are equipped with active noise cancellation up to 49 dB and support spatial sound. The earbuds are very lightweight - each weighs only 5.3 grams and has two AI microphones to improve the quality of voice calls. Users have four sound modes available: "Powerful Bass", "Warm Vocals", "Classic Soundtrack", and "Vibrant Treble".
Great emphasis is placed on autonomy: a single charge of the headphones gives up to 9 hours of operation, and the 500 mAh case provides a total of 42 hours of listening time. USB-C fast charging gives you 3 hours of use in 10 minutes of connection.
The headphones support Bluetooth 5.3, SBC and AAC codecs, and are compatible with Google Fast Pair. Two devices can be connected simultaneously. Controls are touch-sensitive, and dust and splash protection complies with the IP54 standard. In addition, there is a Bluetooth headphone search function.
Honor EarBuds X9 are available in two colours - blue and white. The price in China is 299 yuan (about $41). It has not yet been announced when the headphones will be available in other markets.
At the same time, Anker introduced Soundcore Sleep A30, headphones for those who sleep on their side, with three-level noise cancellation and snore masking functions, as well as 9 hours of battery life on a single charge.
