Anker has released new Prime Thunderbolt 5 cables, which are now available on Amazon in the US and Germany. The new product is available in two lengths: 0.5 m (1.7 ft) and 1 m (3.3 ft).

Here's What We Know

Both versions support data transmission at speeds up to 80 Gbps and charging with a power of up to 240 W.

The cables can be used to charge laptops, including the MacBook Pro 16 with M3 Pro chip, which, according to Anker, can be charged to 50% in just 26 minutes. They are also suitable for connecting to external displays that support 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 144Hz. Thunderbolt 5 also delivers up to 120Gbps in one-way transmission, which is especially useful for professionals and gamers.

The cables have a braided design, can withstand up to 5,000 bends, and are Thunderbolt 5 certified. They feature braided construction for added strength and durability. They support daisy-chaining and have sturdy and convenient connectors.

In the US, the shorter cable costs $39.99 and the longer cable costs $45.99. In Europe, the 1m cable is available in Germany for €45.99. The price of the longer version corresponds to the cost of a similar Thunderbolt 4 cable.

Anker recently launched Liberty 5, headphones with ANC 3.0 and up to 48 hours of battery life. The new product is available on Amazon and other stores for $129.
