Xiaomi prepares Pad 7S Pro tablet with 12.5-inch LCD display
Xiaomi is preparing a new premium tablet - the Pad 7S Pro. After the recent launch of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, the company plans to introduce a model with slightly different characteristics, which will be a direct successor to the Pad 6S Pro.
Here's What We Know
The novelty has already received certification in China under the model number 25053RP5CC, which confirms its imminent appearance on the market.
The main difference between the Pad 7S Pro and the older Pad 7 Ultra is the display. While the Ultra uses an OLED screen, the Pad 7S Pro will have a 12.5-inch LCD display. This also indicates that the new product will be priced lower. The tablet will receive 120W charging and similar connection characteristics to the Ultra.
It is worth noting that the Pad 7 Ultra has a specially designed Xiaomi XRing 01 chipset, which is made on a 3nm process and demonstrates more than 3 million points in the AnTuTu test, surpassing the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
As for the processor, there is no exact data yet, but it is obvious that Snapdragon 8 Elite will not be used in this model. Among the possible options are the XRing O1 chipset or the Dimensity 9400 series.
Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is expected to be launched in China at the end of June, possibly at the same time as the new Mix Flip 2 smartphone. The global release of the tablet is likely to take place later, possibly alongside the launch of the Xiaomi 15T series.
This tablet will be a more affordable option in Xiaomi's lineup, combining premium features with a more favourable price point.
